This malaria free concession, right in the middle of the Addo Elephant National Park of the Eastern Cape, is the very first in South Africa, and boasts not only the Big 5, but also the densest elephant population on earth.

Little compares to the delight of watching a herd of elephant silently passing as you enjoy the luxury of being served a glass of bubbles on the elegant veranda while overlooking a watering hole where animals come at all times to drink, bath and entertain.

Addo is home to other game species such as lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo, and many smaller varieties of animals – jackals, wild dog, hyena and various varieties of antelope. Keep an eye out for the enchanting and famous dung beetles and tortoises. Addo is a 14000 hectare fenced park near the Eastern Cape Zuurberg mountain range in the Sunday’s River Valley.
