Kuzuko Lodge
Easterncape
As malaria is not a concern, Kuzuko Lodge with excellent accommodation is ideal for families with children.
Day and night game drives are available where guests are taken with trained and knowledgeable guides to watch animals in their natural habitat. You will stop to watch them wandering down to the water holes to bath and drink. The opportunity of looking through telescopes at the glorious African night skies and listening to the haunting sounds of the African bushveld after dark will leave you with life long memories.
Kuzuko Lodge, situated in a private concession in the northern areas of the Greater Addo Elephant National Park in the Eastern Cape, has uninterrupted views of the Karoo Plains and the Winterberg Mountains
When the original Elephant section of the park was proclaimed in 1931 there were only11 elephants left in the area - today this treasured and nurtured ecosystem is a sanctuary to a variety of animals including well over 450 elephants. Lion have now been introduced to the park and there are Cape buffalo, black rhino and a variety of antelope species. If you are observant you will see tortoises and the unique flightless dung beetle, found almost exclusively in Addo.
The Lodge is fully accessible to guests in wheelchairs
