Directions to The Stable Cottages
The Stable Cottages - 6 superbly appointed East Cape Country Style cottages just 8km from the main entrance to the Addo Elephant National Park
All of the spacious and beautifully appointed cottages have private verandas, comfortable sitting areas, mini bars, safes, air conditioning and heating. The large (12m) swimming pool in the grounds is for the exclusive use of Stable Cottage guests.
Stable Cottages are very 'family friendly' (no charge for children under 4yrs, cots and baby sitters available) and two of the cottages have been designed to be 'family units' with a separate inter leading room for the children.
The 'Wine Bar & Café” offers the guests a country dining experience in the casual and trendy dining room where breakfast, lunch and dinner is available. Choose from the small, but select wine list offering some of the Cape’s finest!
Come and relax while you read the morning papers with a cup of Illy coffee or cappuccino before you embark on a game drive followed by a long lazy lunch with G&T’s and chilled Sauvignon Blanc on the veranda. While enjoying your evening dinner reflect on yet another great day in Africa where the wholesome farm food, good conversation, fine wines and classic memories will linger long after you leave!
We are able to book a wide range of activities in the area, these include:
• Game drives into Addo and Schotia
• Valley and township tours
• Elephant Back safaris
• Quad biking
• Canoeing on the river (great birding!)
• Horse trails in Addo
• Helicopter trip to the beach
RATES: R550 – R600 pp per night B&B (enquire for last minute specials)
The Wine bar & Café is a perfect venue for any special occasion like WEDDINGS – a marquee can be erected over the courtyard and excellent accommodation is available for your guests in the cottages!
