Description

Embark on an unforgettable 3-day journey along South Africa’s scenic Garden Route, starting and ending in Port Elizabeth. Your adventure begins with a morning pickup and a short drive to the renowned Addo Elephant National Park, home to over 600 elephants and other members of the Big 5. Enjoy a thrilling safari drive through diverse landscapes where you may encounter lions, buffalos, zebras, kudu, and more in their natural habitat. After a few hours immersed in the wild, continue your journey westward toward Tsitsikamma National Park, where the lush forests meet the dramatic coastline. Settle in for the evening in the Storms River area and unwind under a canopy of indigenous trees. On Day 2, awaken to the sounds of the forest and head into Tsitsikamma National Park for a morning hike across the famous Storms River Suspension Bridge, taking in breathtaking views of the river gorge and rugged coastline. For the adventurous, optional activities like kayaking or ziplining are available at extra cost. From there, the tour continues to The Crags, a wildlife haven near Plettenberg Bay. Visit either the Elephant Sanctuary (optional at extra cost), Monkeyland, or Birds of Eden, where you can get up close to rescued animals in vast natural enclosures. By late afternoon, journey on to the charming town of Knysna, nestled between forested mountains and a tranquil lagoon. Spend your evening at the Knysna Waterfront enjoying fresh seafood or the famous local oysters. The final day begins with a relaxing morning in Knysna. Take in panoramic views from the iconic Knysna Heads or enjoy a peaceful stroll in the forests or along the lagoon edge (boat trip to the lagoon Avilable on extra cost) . As the tour winds down, begin the return journey to Port Elizabeth, with scenic stops along the way including Wilderness and Bloukrans Bridge—home to the world’s highest commercial bungee jump for those seeking an adrenaline rush.(bungee jump available at extra cost optional) The tour concludes by late afternoon as you arrive back in Port Elizabeth, filled with incredible memories of wildlife, coastlines, forests, and the soul of the Garden Route.
