Itinerary

Day 1: Pickup from accommodation in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) followed by a full-day safari in Addo Elephant National Park. The park hosts over 700 elephants, lions, black rhinos, Cape buffalo, leopards, spotted hyenas, various antelope, bird species, and the unique Addo flightless dung beetle. Overnight accommodation near the park is included.

Day 2: After breakfast, travel to Mountain Zebra National Park in the semi-arid Karoo. Initially established to protect the endangered Cape Mountain Zebra, the park now supports over 700 wildlife species including zebra, cheetah, lion, buffalo, eland, kudu, black wildebeest, red hartebeest, blesbok, and gemsbok. Rare animals such as aardwolf, bat-eared fox, and caracal may also be spotted. Enjoy a 2-hour afternoon game drive upon arrival. Overnight within the park.

Day 3: Begin early with a 3-hour guided on-foot cheetah tracking session. Afterwards, travel to Nieu Bethesda, a village set at the foot of the Sneeuberge Mountains offering expansive plains and mountain views. Overnight stay in Nieu Bethesda.

Day 4: Visit the Owl House, a renowned attraction in Nieu Bethesda featuring distinctive artworks. Then proceed to Camdeboo National Park near Graaff-Reinet. Explore the Valley of Desolation, characterized by ancient volcanic rock formations shaped over 200 million years. After lunch, return to Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) where the tour concludes.
