Description
Day 1: Travel along Route 62 through the Overberg region of the Western Cape. Visit Ronnie’s Sex Shop, then continue to Oudtshoorn, South Africa’s Ostrich Capital, home to the Cango Caves National Monument. Overnight stay in Oudtshoorn. (Dinner included)
Day 2: After early breakfast, visit a local ostrich farm. Proceed to Knysna for lunch and explore the Knysna Heads. Optional activities include visiting Knysna Elephant Park to interact with elephants, and an ocean safari in Plettenberg Bay to see dolphins and whales. Stop at Bloukrans Bungee, the highest bungee jump in the world at 216 meters. Overnight stay in Storms River Village. (Breakfast and dinner included)
Day 3: Hike in Tsitsikamma National Park to the Storms River mouth. Cross the Hanging Bridge and swim in the Indian Ocean. Then head to the Garden Route Game Lodge for a Big 5 sunset game drive and a three-course dinner. Overnight in award-winning chalets or lodge rooms. (Breakfast and dinner included)
Day 4: Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Drive to Hermanus for land-based whale watching (in season) and cliff-side walks. On the return to Cape Town, visit Stony Point to see the local penguin colony, with views over False Bay before concluding the tour. (Breakfast included)
