Arrive at the Tenikwa Wildlife Center for a warm welcome and overview of the day’s activities. Begin your outdoor adventure with either a wildlife tour or a walk through the protected Tsitsikamma forest reserve. The forest walk follows ancient paths where you’ll discover giant hardwood trees, unique fungi, and native orchids along mossy streams.
Bird enthusiasts may spot native species such as the Knysna Loerie or the Narina Trogon. Experience the quiet forest glade with giant tree ferns before returning for a freshly prepared lunch platter. The guided wildlife walking tour offers close encounters with South Africa’s wild cats via elevated walkways, perfect for observing and photographing the animals while learning about their ecological roles.

- Early time slots start with the wildlife tour followed by the forest walk; later slots reverse the order
