Begin with a scenic transfer from Port Elizabeth to Addo followed by a sunset safari in a private game reserve. Expect sightings of elephants, antelope, zebra, and other wildlife as the sun sets. Evenings are spent relaxing at the lodge with dinner in a tranquil bush setting.
Day two involves a full-day safari inside Addo Elephant National Park, home to one of Africa’s largest elephant populations. Traverse diverse habitats while looking for elephants, lions, buffalo, warthogs, various antelope species, and rich birdlife. A picnic lunch inside the park allows you to absorb the surroundings before returning to your accommodation.
The final day includes a choice between a guided elephant walk or a giraffe walking encounter, offering an up-close and educational experience. In the afternoon, enjoy a sunset Big Five safari at Schotia Private Game Reserve on the eastern border of the Greater Addo area. This reserve presents high chances to spot lions, rhinoceros, elephants, Cape buffalo, and additional wildlife species not found in Addo National Park.
