Description

Begin with a 20-minute scenic forest drive from Storms River Village to the Goesa Nature Reserve drop-off point. Receive your tube and specialized equipment, then follow a local expert guide on an 800m steep walk down a gorge to the river's edge.

Spend 4-5 hours traveling down the river via flatwater paddling, bouldering, tubing, and cliff jumps, encountering unique scenery along the way. Pause midway to recharge with a chocolate bar and a tube balancing session. Continue down the river’s cascade, passing the double dumper and several pools until reaching the Storms River Mouth Suspension Bridges within Tsitsikamma National Park.

Exit the river at the concrete jetty, then walk 20 minutes along the suspension bridge boardwalk back to the parking area where a shuttle bus awaits. The return drive to Storms River Village takes approximately 20 minutes, followed by access to a hot shower.
