Description

Travel along the Cape Peninsula coastline to Simon's Town, home of the South African Navy. Pass through charming historical fishing villages, secluded coves, and pristine beaches. Enjoy lunch at the famous Brass Bell Restaurant, overlooking the glistening Atlantic Ocean, in Kalk Bay Harbour. Visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, acclaimed as one of the great botanical gardens of the world. Few gardens can match the sheer grandeur of the setting of Kirstenbosch, against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. Visit the beautiful Boulders Beach, the only place in the world where you can get up close to the African Penguins. Then head to the Cape of Good Hope, the most southwestern tip of the African Continent. With its diverse habitat, ranging from rocky mountain tops to beaches and open sea, the Cape of Good Hope is home to at least 250 species of birds. En route back to Cape Town, drive over Chapman’s Peak, on the Atlantic Coast, which is one of the most spectacular marine drives in the world.
